Peter Ojo
President and CEO
Peter is a visionary whose education across three continents has influenced his view of what a payment solution should mean to users and merchants. He's a well-known and influential figure in the world of electronic business.
Peter has more than 15 years of progressive professional experience in transforming business ideas into e-business solutions. Before founding LFR Communications, Inc, Peter was responsible for the development of complex Match Grant National Database for Refugees in the USA as a project under IRSA Washington DC.
Peter was instrumental in the development of various software and web enabled applications for the Internal Revenue Service, Data Mining and analysis for x-ray machines to enhance the reaction of operators to Tip images at many airports in the US (TSA/Jill), sales automation and procurement for AT&T /British Telecom (Concert project), Intranet for American Standard, Department of Homeland Security, Hitachi Data System Solutions, and the ASCII Group, Inc.
In 2005 Peter eliminated the need for mailing prepaid debit cards to International destinations by developing a faster and secure algorithm leveraging on PDF (portable document format) called virtual debit card. Graphcard, the first client, sold several millions of dollars worth of prepaid virtual accounts two years after deployment of this solution without mailing any card. The technology is now widely used world- wide by many corporations.
In 2007, Peter designed the algorithm-blue print for VTN Mobile / web payment network for the emerging economies, that has now processed several millions of transactions in its pre-launch stage. Same was used to power USA-Africa trade mission summit successfully.
Peter's strong technical background, good understanding of e-payment solutions, e-commerce business models and applications has helped accelerate the growth of Graphcard, which is currently being used in over 100 countries.
Peter is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan, the University of Portsmouth, U.K and Kings College University of London. He is currently studying for a PhD in Business Administration at NCU with special focus on ecommerce. He is a former ODASSS (now DFID) Scholar. |

Catherine Berruer Vice President, Product Development
Catherine has worked for various national and international agencies and private institutions. She worked at the Department of Agriculture in France in 1993 where she was responsible for facilitating, preparing, structuring, and fulfilling credit proposals for agriculture clients. She managed client loan portfolios, including analyzing financial data and statements, as well as determining credit worthiness.
In 1999, she began to work as Scholarship Officer at Microcredit Summit in Washington D.C. During her tenure, she organized conferences in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire and other areas and was directly responsible for reviewing and managing $250,000 scholarship to people in poverty-stricken areas. She also worked at the Sulphur Institute where she was responsible for event planning and personally organized conferences in the U.S., Europe and China.
Catherine will be an essential collaborator by offering VTN services to global merchants and portals in several countries.
Catherine obtained her B.A. (Second class Upper) degree in Applied Language Studies from Thames Valley University, London, U.K. and in Translation from the University of Rouen, France.
She is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Her extensive international experience has been an asset to VTN. |

Awokola Abayomi Adisa
Head Agent Sales
A honors graduate of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (second class upper division), Abayomi recently joined VTN from Zenith Bank PLC.
Despite having a basic training in engineering, Abayomi diversified into the financial services industry, thereby gaining a vast insight into the Nigerian Financial System from a global perspective. Starting his career with a short stint with the First Bank of Nigeria PLC, he got his basic training in the rudiments of global banking; from customer service, to retail credit, foreign and treasury operations. He also had a stint with the public sector marketing department, consumer credit and the ICT framework unit before capping it with his involvement in GL accounting and clearing operations.
He then moved on to Zenith Bank PLC where he rose to provide leadership for the Funds Transfer Unit (FTU) of the Banking Operations Department of one of the branches of the bank. His areas of proficiency include settlements, reconciliation, financial reporting, treasury administration, electronic transfers, expense and income accounting, tax administration and bank regulatory returns in addition to supervision and customer relations. In this capacity, he was regularly nominated to attend several training events of the bank, in a bid to stay on the cutting edge of his responsibilities.
A present intermediate level student member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), he also holds an MBA in Business Finance.

M. Manigandan Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Manigandan hold an M.Sc computer science from Sri Sankara Arts & Science college in 2006. He graduated with 78% grade. Manigandan was part of a team that develops the Voyage Mart System (VMS) system to book airplane tickets, hotel and car reservation from anywhere online using Asp.Net with C# , SQLServer 2000 and XML
Manigandan joined VTN in May 2008 as a developer with main focus on developing and releasing add-on upgrades to both mobile and web applications of VTN to ensure secure and smooth running of the VTN network.
Manigandan will also participate in periodic architectural design, coding and test plans for VTN merchants.

Olufunmilayo Ojo
Director, Operations
Mrs. Olufunmilayo Ojo is the Managing Director/CEO of Global Errands Limited, a company engaged in electronic errands and proffering solutions through virtual means. The company represents LFR Communications Inc (Graphcard online payments) in Nigeria and Africa. She coordinates the e-commerce activities, personal shopper services, package handling and shipping services on behalf of LFR. The company handles transactions in excess of $1 million per annum.
Her working experience of 20 years includes 15 years of extensive laboratory research work at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) where she undertook projects on the conservation of plant germplasm (plants genetics and breeding) and crop multiplication in support of agricultural rehabilitation for post conflict African countries like Angola. The specialized project on “Cryo Preservation of Plant Tissue for Germplasm Conservation” was presented in 2002 in Belgium.
At a point in her career, Mrs. Ojo did some volunteer work with the African Centre for Environment Development and Information Network (a not-for-profit organization) to deal with matters of environment vulnerabilities and general land use management.
Mrs. Ojo is an alumnus of the University of Lagos and Ibadan where she studied Botany and Agricultural Biology (Genetics and Breeding) respectively. She was enrolled for a doctorate program in Agriculture. |

JESU RAJA .I Vice President, Technology
Mr. Jesu Raja started his career working as web developer for JEEVAN WEB SOLUTIONS and CHENNAIINFO
Mr. Jesu Raja holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from St.Xavier's College in 2006.
He graduated with 66% grade and joined VTN in November 2007 as a Software Engineer supporting software architecture and ongoing development.
He's responsible for developing components and applications to address VTN account security and to improve users experience.
Mr. Jesu Raja is also responsible for performing process design, coding and unit testing of new mission applications for VTN.
Mr. Jesu Raja is well versed in software development and web application development using various tools including ASP, SQL server, PL/SQL. He's well experienced in debugging and error handling of applications developed using his various web language skills

George Oluwaboro Vice President, Finance
George Oluwaboro has over 20 years experience in accounting and financial management program budgeting and budget monitoring in the private and public sectors. His variety of responsibilities has given him a valuable reservoir of financial and communications exposure.
He started his career as a bank examiner in the State of Texas. George served as a Senior Accountant with MCI/Worldcom and as an Audit Manager for Pope and Company, an accounting firm based in Atlanta.
He was instrumental in the establishment of the first African Mutual Fund Company in the US and was the Fund Manager. George is also the founder of the Disciples Fund Inc. and the Program Director for Community Assets Development Network which provides training and funding to encourage individuals to save and invest in themselves.
George is a graduate of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Certified Public Accountant. |

Jacob Edwards Director Customer support
Jacob Edwards started his career with the Washington Gas in the state of Maryland as marketing specialist and DMC Engineering in Massachusetts as data analyst. He has extensive hardware and software technical skills and customer support, which spans over 7 years including network security and maintenance.
He has first class knowledge of the supports needed in the developing countries by profering solutions to ecommerce related enquiries.
Jacob is responsible for managing VTN's support staff as a project under LFR in three continents to ensure
round the clock availability of online support for VTN users world -wide.
Jacob attended Prince George's Community College in Largo, Maryland where he majored in Computer information systems. |

Adegoke Babatunde Hammed Agent Sales Assistant
Babatunde joined VTN in 2011 as Agent Sales Assistant (Intern). He holds an OND Statistics (Distinction) from the Federal Polytechnic Ede.
He worked as a trainer at TekGUYS IT consult between May - October 2009, shortly after completing his training in computer engineering at TekGUYS IT in 2008.
Babatunde attended computer training at Asafa standard press Iwo between August-November 2007 where he gained significant IT sales experience and the use of various business automation tools.
He's passion for IT is exceptional, and has been following the VTN's progress since 2008
Babatunde share VTN's commitment to the local community and as a long time
user of VTN services, he's seen firsthand how VTN's corporate vision directly impact people's lives in Nigeria.
Babatunde will be assisting VTN agents in defining the market opportunity for the service locally, build a budget model to establish clear goals over a specific time-frame, ensure that metrics focus on revenue, profit margin, market share. He will help them define the general strategy for how the service offering will be delivered, and help outline the specific tactics required during the first year to execute the strategy.
